This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies ajediam.com uses, why, and how you can control them.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work the same way. In this policy we call them all “cookies”.

Your choice

On your first visit we ask for your consent. Necessary cookies are always on, because the website cannot work without them. Analytics cookies are only placed after you click “Accept” or switch them on under “Settings”. If you click “Reject”, none are placed. You can change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. We remember your choice for 6 months, then ask again.

No advertising cookies

We do not use cookies for advertising, and we never sell your data.

Necessary cookies (always on)

Name	Provider	Purpose	Duration
cookie_prefs, cookie_consent	ajediam.com	Remembers your cookie choice	6 months
wp-wpml_current_language	ajediam.com	Remembers your language	Session
_GRECAPTCHA	Google reCAPTCHA	Protects our forms against spam and bots	6 months
Trengo_Visitor, Trengo_VisitorToken (local storage)	Trengo (live chat)	Keeps your chat conversation open from page to page	Until you clear it

Analytics cookies (only with your consent)

They show us, anonymously and in total, how visitors use the website, so we can improve it. We use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity.

Name	Provider	Purpose	Duration
_ga, _ga_*	Google Analytics	Tells visitors apart and counts visits and pages	13 months
_clck, _clsk	Microsoft Clarity	Links the pages of one visit, to show how the website is used	1 year / 1 day
MUID, MR, SM, SRM_B, ANONCHK	Microsoft (clarity.ms, bing.com)	Set by Clarity to recognise the browser across Microsoft services	10 minutes to 13 months
aj_src (local storage)	ajediam.com	Remembers how you first found us (date, source, first page). Only shared with our team if you send us a form.	Until you clear it

Before you make a choice, or if you reject cookies, no analytics cookies are placed. Google Analytics then only receives anonymous signals without cookies (Google Consent Mode), and Microsoft Clarity measures page use without cookies, so your visits are not linked to you. Some of our fonts are loaded from Adobe Fonts, which receives your IP address to deliver them; no cookies are set.

Data outside the EU

Google (Google Analytics, reCAPTCHA) and Microsoft (Clarity) may process data in the United States. Both companies are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission recognises as offering adequate protection.

Blocking or deleting cookies in your browser

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge. If you block necessary cookies, some parts of the website (such as the forms or the chat) may not work.

Your rights

How we handle your personal data, and your rights (access, correction, deletion), are explained in our Privacy Policy. You can also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (www.dataprotectionauthority.be).
